Sustainability

Arcadia Custom has long been leading the way by offering quality solutions and materials for a better, greener world. All of our products comply with LEED and contribute to LEED credits, and we continue to develop and offer products that help earn LEED points in multiple categories.

What is LEED?

The benchmark for sustainable design is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. It provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification validates that a home has been designed and built to promote sustainability.
Arcadia Custom products play an important role in obtaining LEED certification by:

  • Optimizing energy performance
  • Increasing ventilation
  • Using low-emitting materials, paints, coatings and recycled content
